A massive amount of Charities have already hit on the idea of setting up their own unique fundraising lottery, which is part of a nationally run weather lottery to enable them to raise those much needed funds.

It works out cheaper than playing the National Lottery as you get four goes every week for just £1 a week and you know exactly where your money is going i.e. to your club. The prizes range from £2 to £10,000 and proceeds go to your charity.

Players select six numbers between zero and nine. Every day the last digit of the recorded Fahrenheit temperature for the same six locations around the world is taken and anyone who has matched three or more numbers in the correct order is a winner.

To encourage as many people as possible to play, if a charity gets 500 lines (approx 250 people) playing they can earn £9,000 a year, or 5,000 lines (2500 people) gives them an annual income of £91,000.
