Coronation Street stars play Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for charity

The new run of popular quiz Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Launches on August 16, beginning with three celebrity specials. The first sees stars from Weatherfield attempting to raise plenty of cash for good causes.

As for who will be popping their bottoms in the hot seats, well, Samia Smith (Maria Sutherland) and Jennie McAlpine (Fiz Brown) will be hoping to raise money for Cancer Research UK and the Mood Swings Network.

Meanwhile, Michael Starke (Jerry Morton) and Sally Whittaker (Sally Webster) want to win big for Action Aid and Zoe's Place Baby Hospice.

Let's hope they all do well and don't have to use any of their lifelines - though it would be interesting to find out who their celebrity friends were.
