Princes on charity rally in South Africa

British princes William and Harry have begun, a 1,000-mile ’endurance’ motorcycle rally in South Africa aimed at raising money for childrens charities. The rally organised by UK-based Global Enduro is called “Enduro Africa 08”.

Under the “Enduro Africa 08”, funds raised by late Princess Diana’s children will go to UNICEF, the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund and Prince Harry’s Lesotho-based Sentebale, a charity for disadvantaged children.

The rally started in Port Edward on the south coast of Kwazulu Natal province and ends in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape Province.

According to the organisers’ website, Enduro Africa aims " to raise at least £150, 000 for South Africa and Lesotho."
