Charity raises over £2,000 With Winehouse Dress Auction
Amy Winehouse has raised nearly US$4,000 for charity after putting the winning dress she wore at the 2008 Grammy Awards up for auction on the internet.
Winehouse, who won five awards at the ceremony in Los Angeles on February 8, performed via a live link from the UK during the show in the black Dolce And Gabbana outfit.
The dress was eventually sold on eBay for US$3,900, with the money raised going to breast cancer charity The Lavender Trust.
