Rugby star presents charity workers with awards
Scotland rugby star Ian McLauchlan presented three charity shop workers from Edinburgh with long-service awards.
Volunteers Winnie Allan and Muriel Dickson, who have worked in Marie Curie Cancer Care stores for fifteen and five years respectively, were given the awards as part of a ceremony to unveil the charity's new store in Corstorphine.
Shop manager Alison Smith was also rewarded for her five years of service at the charity's former shop on St John's Road, which was closed earlier this year.
Mr McLauchlan said: "I was delighted to open this fantastic new Marie Curie Cancer Care Shop. Everything spent in the shop will support the Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh which provides such wonderful care for terminally ill people, and support for their families."
